Burn Fat By Eating?
When thinking about the next article I should write, I remembered how much foods that burned fat and boosted the metabolism intrigued me.  Finally, something that gives us a break with our diets.  For me these foods are great because I’m trying to put on muscle and for those trying to lose weight, they’re even more powerful!
Foods:
Broccoli is packed with Vitamin C, A, and calcium which helps absorb fat and keep the body running like a well oiled machine!
Milk/Low-Fat Yogurt foods rich in healthy dairy have the healthy calcium our bodies need.
Oatmeal the heart healthy carb has loads of fiber to keep you full and the complex carb induces more energy.
Jalapenos/Habanaros both of these hot treats contain capasaicin which boosts heart rate and the metabolism.  Also, spicier foods work to keep you feeling fuller longer.
Healthy Fats replace the bad fats in your diet with these fiber filled treats and see a huge improvement!
Apples/Grapefruits while apples satisfy your sugar craving, grapefruits help insulin spikes and are rich in Vitamin C.
Green Tea containing ECGC which causes the brain and nervous system to run faster causing more fat burn!
Lean Meats…chicken, lamb, and pork oh my!  Lean proteins provide your body a substance to work hard and burn off while still being incredibly powerful with good vitamins, amino acids, and minerals.
Caffeine  some people shy from it, but in moderate amounts its amazing..speeding up the heartbeat thus leading to more activity and fat burn.
These are just a few basic foods I thought most people would see in their normal diet regimen.

Things I want to do in the future! So to get to this wonderful place on my journey I will be doing several things

1. Couch to 5k

even though i used to get my run on in the past I need to start all over from scratch. The fastet 5k I ever ran was in 28 minutes. I want to try and get faster and eventually run more than 5 miles, but i got to start from somewhere first so here is the couch to 5k .

2. Weight Training with my own body weight

I really want to do all my weight training with my own body weight so I am doing these goal oriented exercise series. My plan is after I reach the allotted number to incorporate the final number into my everyday routine.

3. Eat Right

I eat so much sugar it is sad. and I snack like a mad man, and I don’t drink enough water, and portion size? whazz dat nevah heard of it. So these are the things I need to work on. for the most part. I do not eat that much fast food. I love fruits and vegetables and my diet is not too atrocious. I just love me a cinnabon is all. ohh and my down fall is flaming hot cheetos and gatorade… that shit doesn’t even make sense. so i just want to get it all together!

Product Review Time: Pure Chocolate Brownie Bars
I’m obsessed. Most “health” bars out there are dry and artificial, but these Pure bars are organic, vegan and amazingly tasty for a wannabe-brownie. They’re very fudgy - you may not be a fan if you like cakey brownies - and packed with nuts. I have no idea how they managed to make such simple ingredients taste like a fudgy brownie but I’m not complaining.
So if you’re craving a brownie but don’t want to splurge on calories or fat, try one out!
Nutrition Info: 1 bar
180 calories
7 g of fat (.5 g saturated)
4 g of fiber
18 g of sugar (a little high, but worth it.)
7 g of protein
Where to buy: Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Health Markets, Amazon
