What is your say on marijuana use together with fitness? I’ve been eating clean, working out constantly, but I also enjoy taking a hit a day from my bong. Sometimes, I even take a hit before my work out and the session will be insanely enjoyable and intense believe or not. I’m 22 this year and I come from south east Asia, and I genuinely believe I look way fitter from my peers at the same age. Can you share your thoughts on this?
I get shit for talking about weed on a fitness blog, but I’ll do it again anyway. Despite the negative connotations, I know a lot of people, probably many here on Tumblr, who smoke and still have healthy, active and productive lives.
Weed is a pretty big part of my life and I partake in it often - I like smoking before a workout, it enhances everything I love about exercising. It’s hard to explain if you’ve never tried it, and I’m not promoting its usage, but I’m not going to hide or feel guilty about doing it. I’m healthier and fitter than I’ve ever been.
So my views remain the same - it’s a personal choice and no one should feel ashamed or afraid of being judged for enjoying it.
