Marathon Monday is an amazing day to be in Boston, nothing but sportsmanship and good vibes throughout the entire city, and the violence that occurred today is unthinkable and despicable. My thoughts go out to Bostonians, fellow runners, and all friends and family.
In 1967, Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to run the Boston marathon. After realizing that a woman was running, race organizer Jock Semple went after Switzer shouting, “Get the hell out of my race and give me those numbers.” However, Switzer’s boyfriend and other male runners provided a protective shield during the entire marathon. The photographs taken of the incident made world headlines, and Kathrine later won the NYC marathon with a time of 3:07:29.
Amazing. HAPPY MARATHON MONDAYYY

Top 3 absolute favorite dishes from Life Alive (don’t get me wrong though, everything there rocks). Going for dinner tonight with some amazing people! :)
Life Alive is one of my favorite restaurants. Pretty much everything is organic, vegetarian, and surprisingly delicious. If you’re in the Boston/Cambridge area, check it out. It looks somewhat like a hippie den on the outside, but on the inside.. it’s a super hippie den.
..if any of you live in/near NYC and like Digitalism
