The two are mutually inclusive but it depends on what you’re aiming for - an active lifestyle will mostly burn fat all over, while targeting specifics builds muscle in that area.

will maintaining an active lifestyle help me tone down or do i have to constantly be targeting a specific muscle in order to see improvement? because i think of dancers and how they're constantly active yet some of my dancer friends aren't doing sets of like 5 different ab workouts.
