It’s pretty common to go over sugar limits, since the majority of your calories come from carbohydrates and carbohydrates are sugar. What’s important is making sure the sugars you eat are natural, like the ones found in fruit, instead of added like the ones from soda. If you are watching sugar intake, stick to naturally low or sugar free foods like leafy green vegetables, lean protein like tofu and poultry, and nuts. Cut down on fruit, starches like pasta, and condiments like honey and syrup.

So I've been eating very healthy and exercising lately, however, I track my food intake and my sugar intake is always over! Even if I only eat whole foods and ones with low sugar, my sugar is ALWAYS over unless I'm eating next to nothing. What are meals I can prepare that still taste great and that are low in sugar?
