I want to do more cardio in my workouts because I'm trying to lose some weight but I really don't like running, would swimming be a decent alternative for weight loss cardio?

Yes. Swimming is amazing cardio, it’s arguably even more effective than running since it’s a total body workout that also incorporates resistance/strength training.
