my mom keeps hounding me about eating peanut butter ( which is what i eat with apples) she keeps telling me that i'll be fat and that i'll look prettier if im skinny, yet she doesn't say anything when i eat ice cream or sweets. ugh how do i deal with judgmental parents?

Keep educating yourself, the more knowledgeable and sure you are about your choices, the less you care about what people think of them.

Help? Whenever it's my week to wash dishes I stay up late til everyone's gone upstairs, I wash the dishes, &then I binge on cereal. Not like really bad just like two bowls but this happens more than I would like but I can't seem to control it.

It’s a bad habit and you can break it. Instead staying up late, wash dishes with people still around. This reduces the familiarity of routine, and helps suppress whatever triggers you to eat. Boredom is often the reason why people eat late at night so once you’re done, get out of the kitchen, go outside or to your room and be productive. Change your routine and you can change your habits. Or if you need to, stop keeping cereal around.

Q: I am about to start birth control. I have been reading about the latest benefits but I am afraid I will begin to gain weight. My goal is 100 and I am currently at 105-ish. Do you take BC (personal, sorry) and what workouts do you recommend? I run at least 4 miles 3 times a week. thanks!!

I’m in the same boat, only way to find out how it affects you is to try it. Regular-daily cardio at least 3x a week plus weight training like lifting will manage your weight but if you start inexplicably gaining without major lifestyle changes other than BC, talk to your doctor and maybe find a different brand.

is it okay to have the actual flavoured green teas, like lemon green tea? you're so inspiring by the way!

If you mean flavored tea bags, yes. If you mean flavored bottled teas (Lipton, Arizona, etc) those are high in sugar so avoid them. Thanks!

Hey there! what are some low-ish calorie and clean ingredient recipes for lunch or snacks? I'm getting bored of the same old foods and really need to mix it up lil...

Vegetables: spinach (blend with fruit for a smoothie), kale (make kale chips), cucumbers, celery or baby carrots with hummus

Fruit: Apples, bananas, berries, oranges, grapefruit, dried fruit

Grains: oatmeal, wheat toast, wheat crackers or wraps, quinoa

Spreads: nut butters, hummus, fruit butter, yogurt dips, mashed avocado

Misc: raw almonds or walnuts, greek yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, beans
